Plan and coordinate the development and migration of a management system from mainframe architecture to Oracle applications enabling web-based interface and ad-hoc reports. Consult with users and management to assess computing needs and system requirements. Gather business requirements and map them to existing system functionality. Direct daily operations, analyze workflow, develop standards and set deadlines for production. Develop and enhance applications for all system modules. Run queries against Oracle database in trial mode and fix mismatches. Produce queries for ad-hoc reports. Review and approve systems charts and programs before implementation. Evaluate system technology use and needs and recommend improvements.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 3 years experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years progressive experience.
Skills: Oracle RDBMS and Applications, PL/SQL, UNIX, Oracle Forms 6i, UNIX shell scripting, C/C++.
